Texas Tribune Article on Hank Skinner-Part 2

In the second part of Brandi Grissom’s Texas Tribune article “Case Open” (January 29, 2010) a closer look at the impending execution of Hank Skinner is examined. The article focuses more specifically on the legal actions taken by Skinner for greater DNA testing of evidence since his 1995 conviction in the murder of Twila Busby and her two sons. Grissom’s article identifies three significant areas of concern regarding the handling of the original case and how subsequent appeals have been handled.
Skinner continues to maintain his innocence and is vehemently requesting the DNA testing of additional evidence to prove such before his scheduled execution date on February 24, 2010.
