Answer: #GivingTuesday (#GT) is a movement to create a national day of giving to kick off the giving season.  It has been added to the calendar on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The second annual GivingTuesday is on December 3, 2013. In the same way that retail stores take part in Black Friday, we want the giving community to come together for #GivingTuesday.

Remember the important work of the Texas Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty – TCADP on December 3.

Ideas for GivingTuesday:

  • Make your donation a gift in honor or memory of friends and family members. TCADP will send them a note on your behalf.
  • Give your friend(s) the gift of attending the TCADP 2014 Annual Conference – “Lighting the Way” to be held in Fort Worth, Texas February 22, 2014.  Early Bird registration rates available through January 1!
  • Give because you want to be a partner in the work to end the death penalty in Texas.
