The ACLU of Texas provided a comprehensive questionnaire to the candidates consisting of 38 questions. The ratings below reflect how their answers align with ACLU of Texas’ Smart Justice priorities to end mass incarceration.
On January 30, we hosted a public forum to connect the people of Harris County with the candidates asking for their vote. Candidates answered questions in front of a packed room and had an opportunity to clarify their plans to end mass incarceration. A live recording of the forum is available on our Facebook page.
