I understand that if I am selected for the TCADP Lobby Corps, I am committing to the following aspects of this program:*

1. Participate in person in a half-day training session at the State Capitol, which will take place on a weekday in December 2026.

2. Meet with assigned legislators and/or their staff members during normal business hours, Monday-Thursday, at least two or three times during the legislative session.

3. Keep in touch with assigned legislators and/or their staff members via email, phone, Facebook, X (Twitter), or other social media regarding pending or proposed legislation and important death penalty developments, including cases specific to their districts.

4. Submit written reports to TCADP regarding any meetings or other interactions with legislators and/or staff members.

5. Attend/watch relevant committee hearings.

6. Treat all legislators and their staff members with courtesy and respect, regardless of party affiliation or political differences.

7. When the legislature is not in session, meet with members in their district offices, provide email updates on important death penalty developments, and attend local political events, including community forums, town hall meetings, and open house events as opportunities arise and circumstances allow. Follow up with written reports to TCADP.
