“Voices of Change: Rethinking Capital Punishment”

Join Texas CCATDP and TCADP on October 10th at 7:00 PM as we commemorate World Day Against the Death Penalty and engage in meaningful dialogue about capital punishment in Texas. Texas CCATDP director Nan Tolson will share her insights on the death penalty from a conservative perspective, offering a unique viewpoint on this critical issue. We will also take a moment to reflect on the lives lost to capital punishment and provide the latest information on Robert Roberson’s case. OUR TEAM Nan Tolson is the Director of Texas Conservatives Concerned About the Death Penalty. She also serves on the Conservatives Concerned national advisory board. Previously, Tolson worked for Governor Greg Abbott for five years where she held many roles including Deputy Press Secretary, Chief Spokesperson, and Communications Manager. Her experience also includes in Senator Ted Cruz’s office and on Senator Rand Paul’s 2016 presidential campaign. In 2024, Tolson was named 40 Under 40 in Texas conservative politics by the Texas Federation of Republican Women. She is a graduate of Baylor University, a native Texan, and resides in Dallas.
