Stop Executions
Texas is scheduled to execute Matthew Johnson on May 20, 2025, for killing Nancy Harris while robbing the convenience store where she worked in Garland. Johnson committed this terrible crime while in the throes of a serious cocaine addiction, an addiction that plagued him for most of his life in the free world and caused him to become a different person.
