New Death Sentence in Dallas County

On August 29, 2012, a jury in Dallas County determined that Tyrone Cade should be put to death for the 2011 murders of his girlfriend, 37-year-old Mischell Fuller, and her daughter, 18-year-old Desaree Hoskins, during a jealous rage.  The jury rejected an insanity defense.

This is the second new death sentence in Dallas County this year and the sixth new death sentence in Texas.  Overall, Dallas County accounts for the second-highest number of death sentences (104) and executions (48) in Texas.
