Starvin’ for Justice

Anyone who is against the death penalty is encouraged to come to Austin, and participate in the 1st Annual Texas Fast and Vigil Against the Death Penalty marking the 30th Anniversary of the Gregg v. Georgia decision, which allowed executions to resume in the U.S.

Texans from across the state will converge on the capital July 1-2 to let our legislators and fellows citizens know that this abomination cannot continue in our names.

Please follow the link above for registration and more information. Note that free community housing is being offered by First United Methodist Church. Bring a sleeping bag!

This is a collaborative effort of Texas Students Against the Death Penalty, Texas Moratorium Network, and TCADP! Yahoo for abolitionists working together!
