TEXAS:
2 indicted for capital murder
A Kaufman County grand jury Wednesday returned 2 separate indictments for
capital murder in connection with a November 2009 double homicide.
Martin McKee, 37, of Farmers Branch, and Virginia Gail Youngblood, 49, of
Dallas, were indicted for capital murder.
On Nov. 10, 2009, a resident jogging in the early morning hours, reported
what she thought was two bodies in the ditch on County Road 280, just off
Farm-to-Market Road 987, in the Post Oak Bend area. Kaufman County
Sheriff’s Crimes Against Persons investigators later identified the
victims as Fiona K. Olander, of Addison, and her 10-year-old daughter,
Korryn Threadgill.
Both McKee and Youngblood could face life in prison without parole, or the
death penalty if convicted.
Also, on Dec. 18, 2009, investigators arrested a 3rd suspect in this case.
Billy Wayne Taylor, 55, of Dallas, has been charged with tampering/
fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair a criminal
investigation. The charge is a 3rd degree felony, punishable by a fine of
up to $10,000 and 2 to 10 years in prison.
Taylor is currently being held at the Kaufman County Law Enforcement
Center with bond set at $150,000.
Both McKee and Youngblood still remain in the Kaufman County Law
Enforcement Center without bond.
