Nick Braune of the Texas Civil Rights Review wrote the article, “Organizing the Rio Grande Valley Against Capital Punishment” (February 7, 2010) which highlights the increased presence of TCADP in the Rio Grande Valley as well as TCADP chapter leader Sylvia Garza’s abolition work.
The article highlights both recent and upcoming events TCADP has been involved with in the region, citing the Juan Melendez Speaking Tour held in November and the upcoming March Regional Training Session.
